Kim Ji-soo and Jung Sang-bin are called up for the Olympic national soccer team’s away match in France
Hwang Sun-hong’s Olympic U22 team will be joined by Kim Ji-soo (Brentford), Kwon Hyuk-kyu (Celtic), and Jung Sang-bin (Minnesota) for the trip to France.
The Korea Football Association (KFA) today announced the 24-man Olympic roster for this month’s exhibition match against France.
The Olympic team will depart for France on Nov. 13 and face the France U21 team in Le Havre, France, on Nov. 20.토토사이트
The team will also play a practice match against a local professional team on the 17th.
The roster includes overseas players Kim Ji-soo, Kwon Hyuk-kyu and Jeong Sang-bin, as well as Ko Young-joon (Pohang), Hwang Jae-won (Daegu), Ahn Jae-joon (Bucheon) and Kim Jung-hoon (Jeonbuk), who competed at the Asian Games in Hangzhou in October.
Kim Sun-ho (Bucheon) and Lee Kang-hee (Gyeongnam) are newcomers under Hwang Sun-hong.
The Olympic team is preparing for the Asian final qualifier for the Paris Olympics in April 2024 in Qatar and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup.
“During this call-up, we want to fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of our team through the experience of playing against France, a strong team, and adapting to the local environment, and prepare for the final qualifiers and the Olympic Games,” said Hwang. “We minimized the number of overseas players in this call-up because it is uncertain whether we will be able to call on overseas players for the Asian final qualifiers next April.”
