I’m out of the starting position…I plan to leave Paris Saint-Germain
Fabian Luiz (27), who has found himself out of favor at Paris Saint-Germain, is looking to explore opportunities in the January transfer window. The player’s agent has been in contact with the Bianconeri, with Juventus president Cristiano Giuntoli (51-Italy), who recruited him from Napoli, requesting information about the player.레모나토토 도메인
“Juventus have asked for information about Luiz, and his agent was in Turin this week,” European soccer transfer market expert Niccolo Skrera wrote on social media on Sunday (June 17). No public negotiations have taken place between the clubs yet, but Giuntoli has spoken highly of him since his time at Napoli.”
This season, Paris Saint-Germain have formed a backline around Warren Zairemerri (17), Vitinha (23) and Manuel Ugarte (22). The trio, chosen by Luis Enrique (53-Spain), are talented and have a huge impact on the Paris Saint-Germain offense. But as their influence grows, so does Luis’ smile.
Since joining the club from Napoli last season, Luis has earned a spot in the middle of the park with limited opportunities. He attacked from the center of the field with the same fundamentals and technique that Spanish midfielders are known for. Add to that a precise left-footed kick and an abundance of brass, and he helped his teammates win the Ligue 1 title.
But this season, under Enrique, his role has changed. In 13 games across all competitions, Lewis has played just 555 minutes. At 42.6 minutes per game, he’s been reduced to a rotation player. Ziyir Emery’s growth has been impressive, and his midfield partners Vitinha and Ugarte have also earned Enrique’s trust. With Enrique’s midfield combination so solid, Luiz’s future is in doubt.
Luis wants more opportunities and is hoping to turn things around in the upcoming winter transfer window. Juventus, who have a hole in their midfield, are interested in signing him. The Bianconeri are without Paul Pogba (30) and Nicolo Pazzioli (22) for an extended period of time after they were caught doping and betting illegally, respectively.
Juventus are currently looking at several midfielders. Italian outlet Tuttosport reported on Sunday that “With Atletico Madrid’s Rodrigo De Paul, 29, still very highly rated, other options have not been ruled out. A name that has consistently been a favorite of the Juventus board, such as Luiz, should be on the radar.”
With Juventus’ top brass, including Giuntoli, speaking so highly of the player, a January move is looking increasingly likely. In addition to Lewis and De Paul, Juventus are also targeting a number of midfielders, including Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (28, Tottenham) and Lazar Samardzic (21, Udinese).
